1. Site identification

This website is operated under the trade name DomfoRat and is available notably through domforat.com and www.domforat.com.

DomfoRat provides digital services related to the search, analysis and consultation of domains, Google Business profiles, social profiles, ranked websites, SEO data, premium content, web tools and related services.

2. Publisher

Contract, commercial, administrative, complaint, invoicing, data protection or reporting requests must be sent to the contact e-mail above with enough information to identify the request.

3. Publication director

The publication director is the website publisher. Any request relating to content published on DomfoRat may be sent to [email protected].

4. Hosting

Site traffic may pass through technical providers for security, caching, DNS, anti-abuse, payment, e-mail, analytics or monitoring before reaching the origin hosting provider.

5. Activity

DomfoRat provides information, access and digital content intended to help users study domains, web assets, SEO signals, Google Business profiles, histories, social profiles, indexing evidence, content, editorial opportunities and related resources.

DomfoRat does not sell the domains displayed unless expressly stated otherwise. Registration, purchase, renewal or retention of a domain name is carried out with a third-party registrar, under the user's sole responsibility and subject to availability at the time of the operation.

7. Payment and premium access

Some paid DomfoRat features give access to digital content supplied immediately after payment, including premium records, Google Business data, social profiles, ranked websites, histories, exports, packs or analyses.

Online payments are processed by Stripe. DomfoRat does not store full bank card numbers. The price, duration, essential characteristics of the offer, payment terms and access conditions are displayed before order validation.

When the user expressly requests immediate access to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium before the end of the withdrawal period, loss of the right of withdrawal may only occur under the conditions set by the French Consumer Code and without prejudice to mandatory statutory guarantees.

8. Intellectual property

The DomfoRat mark, trade name, texts, interfaces, databases, scripts, scoring methods, analyses, premium content, graphics, packaging assets, screenshots, visuals, page structures, exports, tools and original website elements are protected by intellectual property law and by the legal protection applicable to databases.

Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, adaptation, substantial extraction, repeated extraction, scraping, automated crawling, public distribution, resale, making available, technical circumvention or commercial exploitation of any DomfoRat element is prohibited, unless prior written authorisation or a mandatory legal exception applies.

Third-party marks, services, company names, platforms, logos, screenshots or content mentioned on DomfoRat remain the property of their respective owners. Such references do not imply affiliation, endorsement or warranty by them.

9. SEO data, domains and external sources

SEO data, domains, Google Business profiles, social profiles, rankings, screenshots, histories, indexing signals, estimates, technical statuses and availability elements are provided as analytical aids at a given date.

This information may come from public sources, third-party providers, analytical tools, automated processing, manual checks or internal databases. It may change, become inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable or obsolete after display.

The user must carry out their own checks before any purchase, registration, publication, redirection, SEO exploitation, outreach or investment decision.

10. Liability

DomfoRat endeavours to provide a serious, documented and secure service, without guaranteeing the total absence of errors, false positives, downtime, delay, ranking variation, domain availability change or third-party source change.

DomfoRat does not guarantee traffic, revenue, indexing, ranking, conversion, business outcome, absence of penalty, absence of dispute, absence of prior rights, future availability of a domain or preservation of an external asset.

No clause in this legal notice limits mandatory statutory guarantees, consumers' mandatory rights, remedies in case of proven fault, lack of conformity, undue payment, fraud, non-performance attributable to DomfoRat or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Reports, abuse and disputed content

Any report relating to content, a domain, data, a screenshot, a link, an alleged infringement of third-party rights, a manifest error, abuse, vulnerability or fraudulent use may be sent to [email protected].

The report should specify the relevant URL, grounds, useful supporting documents, the requester's identity, capacity and contact details. DomfoRat may suspend, remove, hide, correct or limit access to content when a sufficiently serious legal, technical, security or fraud risk is identified.

12. Personal data

DomfoRat may process personal data necessary for website operation, account management, invoicing, payment, premium access, security, proof of consent, incoming requests, claims, abuse prevention and compliance with legal obligations.

Depending on use, the data concerned may include e-mail, declared identity, company, invoicing information, SIREN or SIRET supplied by a business customer, consents, order identifier, Stripe identifiers, technical logs, IP address or fingerprint, browser, messages sent and data necessary for contractual evidence.

Rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability may be exercised at [email protected]. A complaint may also be lodged with the CNIL where the person concerned considers that their rights have not been respected.

13. Cookies, security and third-party providers

The site may use cookies, technical logs, local storage, anti-abuse tools, payment services, transactional e-mails, DNS, caching, application protection, hosting, measurement or analysis tools that are strictly necessary for the service or subject to consent where required by law.

Where a dispute concerns a consumer and a prior written complaint has not resolved it, the consumer may use consumer mediation free of charge under the conditions provided by the French Consumer Code.

The contact details of the consumer mediator competent for DomfoRat are provided to the consumer in the contractual documents or on any durable medium where this information is legally required.

Using mediation does not deprive the consumer of the right to bring proceedings before the competent court.

15. Applicable law

This legal notice is governed by French law. For consumers residing in another country, this choice does not deprive the user of mandatory protections that cannot be waived by agreement.

In the event of a conflict between this legal notice and a mandatory applicable provision, the mandatory provision prevails. The remaining provisions continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
